Shiloh of Alexandria Federal Credit Union (SAFCU)
is a faith based credit union run by volunteers, that was chartered
by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) in 1993 to serve
the members of the Shiloh
Baptist Church, an historic church
located in Alexandria, VA that was originally built by ex-slaves in
1863.
On July 16, 2001,
SAFCU's original charter was amended by the NCUA to include individuals who work, worship or
live in the Parker Gray section of Alexandria, VA (census tract
2016.00). This area is bounded to the west by the CSX railroad
tracks, to the south by Cameron Street and to the east by North Alfred Street, North Henry Street and North Columbus Street.
How do I
join SAFCU ?
To join SAFCU you must be a
member of the Shiloh Baptist Church or live, work or worship
in the Parker Gray section of Alexandria, VA. Membership is only $1.00 with a $5.00 minimum share
deposit. Membership applications are available in the SAFCU
office during business hours or may be mailed to perspective members
upon request.

SAFCU has two locations. Our home office is located on the second floor of the Moses
Beasley Annex at 1323 Duke Street, Alexandria, VA 22314. The
Beasley Annex is the beige row house directly across the street from
